Hey everyone, We hope you stay healthy. Due to the Washingon state law, Governor Jay Inslee issued a statewide stay-at-home order on March 23 to last at least two weeks. However, it has been extended to last at least to May 4. We believe Many people quarantined at home. It is tedious, but it can help you stay away from the virus. Here is some info for letting you guys informed. Hopefully, Our event will postpone on August 14 - 16th, 2020, after the COVID-19. In our event, we will provide one hand sanitizer and one face mask for everyone who joined our music festival. Also, we will check the temperature at our entrance to protect everyone's health condition. Also, our music festival earned money will Donate proceeds to relief funds for cougs feeding cougs and sweet relief fund to help our society. We want to let you know we are caring about you. We ask that everyone stays home as much as possible, follow community guidelines, and remain in community with love. Most of the celebrities are showing people the dangers of COVID-19. They hope their fans can protect against the coronavirus, for example. Gwyneth Paltrow and Kate Hudson are wearing masks to protect against the coronavirus; Kim Kardashian said she now travels 'prepared' for protection; Bill Gates warned of a pandemic and donated $100 million to help contain the outbreak; Justin Bieber donated to a Beijing charity and sent his thoughts and prayers to those affected; Naomi Campbell wore a full hazmat suit on a flight; Howie Mandel said he's not comfortable going to the mall or movies anymore; Taylor Swift advised fans to 'cancel plans' after she noticed 'hangs and parties still happening. Those celebrities are being a role model to let their fans know the COVID-19 importance. Thank you so much for continuing to support Cougchella, and we are hoping we can see you all soon.

Hi Cougchella Family,
We are deeply saddened to know that people in our very own community are struggling in the midst of this pandemic. Anyone who has been able to spend some amount of time in the Palouse knows the community that we have here is unlike anywhere else. We constantly are saying the phrase "Cougs help Cougs." At first you may think this is just something we like to say, but after spending some time in Pullman you quickly learn that this is much more than just a phrase. Being in such a small town, not close to a big city, with not a ton of stuff to do, creates endless opportunities to create your own fun. It also allows you to build incredible relationships with the people who live here. Our community is selfless, caring, kind, loyal, and friendly. We welcome one another to our town, not passing any judgment, just a whole lot of caring and eagerness to help with whatever you may need. With that being said, we knew we needed to do our part to help out the same community that has had our backs time and time again. So we have made the decision to donate 30% of all of our ticket proceeds to the philanthropic relief fund, "Cougs Help Cougs." The relief fund is for any WSU student facing financial emergencies during the time of the Covid-19 pandemic. It helps provide financial support for housing, food, health care, and materials needed for school. The community in Pullman has a special place in all of our hearts and was one of our main inspirations for creating this event in the first place. We are thinking of you all during these difficult times and hope our contribution can help the people in the community that we hold so close to our hearts. Please keep yourself and those around you safe and healthy by following state recommendations. To find out more about the foundation, donate, or apply to receive help go to: https://foundation.wsu.edu/student-support/ We are so proud of the actions those in our community have taken to support one another and we hope to see you all soon, thanks for your continued support. We hope everyone is staying healthy, and keep washing your hand, use hand sanitizer to keep clean. We have exciting news for graduates.
We understand the world has been shocked by the devastating effects of COVID-19. Right now, many places are closed. They only accept to-go order rather than instore, and also, the government won't allow people to hang out with a group of people in these months. Therefore, We will eventually postpone our event. And we know that graduates will be disappointed at the time because the graduation ceremony will be canceled due to the COVID-19. So, It is a chance to group a punch of graduates and celebrate "your big day" with friends and families in our music festival after the COVID-19. Right now, all graduates can enjoy a beneficial, and if you are graduates with approval, then you can enjoy our 35% off discount to do some fun things and treasure time with people who are essential in life. As we are sure all of you reading this already know, there is a Covid-19 pandemic happening across the world. We are all experiencing life in a way we have never experienced before. We face a lot of uncertainty in the times to come but one thing we know for sure is that community is more important now than ever. With Governor Inslee's stay-at-home order and the health risks of being in large crowds right now, we know we cannot currently be with one another physically. We need to support one another in ways that might be a little different from our daily norms. Making use of all the wonderful technological advances we have in this day in age like video calls, texting, calling, etc. are great ways to stay in touch with the people we love. Then, when this is all over and life return back to normal, it won't be normal, we will be forever changed. We will remember the times when we couldn't gather with friends and family and go out and do the things we loved, so, we will appreciate every moment that much more. During this time of uncertainty, we wanted to let you all know that Cougchella is currently moving forward as planned on August 14 - 16th, 2020. We are keeping a close eye on the situation at hand and staying up-to-date on the events occurring every day. As we know more we will continue to keep you updated as the events progress. Since Cougchella is at the end of the summer and still a few months away, we remain hopeful the show will go on. In the event that the situation at hand gets worse and orders are extended we will more the dates of the event to a later time. If this does occur we are prepared to give full refunds to those who cannot attend the new date. For now, we hope things can still go as planned and want everyone to try and remain optimistic. We ask that everyone stays home as much as possible, follows community guidelines, and remains in. (virtual) community with loved ones. Thank you so much for continuing to support Cougchella and we are hoping we can see you all soon. Cougchella is the first ever large-scale three-day music festival in rural Eastern Washington. For this first post, we wanna talk about how the semester is going and why we're doing this project. It's been a great start to our project, and we're all proud of our progress and excited about what's to come! We're all WSU students and we're passionate about the project we're creating because we love music and concerts and doing fun activities with our friends, and because it's a service for students and the Pullman community. Our goal is to create this festival so the students and community can start the year off right with an explosive event that will bring together friends and family and will be something every student will look forward to at the start of the semester.
